Enrico discovered his passion for food through his grandfather, who was a chef for the US army in Italy during the war, and after attending Pietro D’Abano culinary school, began pursuing his other passion in life – travelling. A few of his career highlights include: working in the Italian Alps during the winter, Tuscany in the summer and spending two years in Dubai as chef at Roberto’s, one of the city’s finest dining experiences and award-winning restaurant. While there he learned a more innovative, rather than traditional, style of Italian cooking. Determined to follow his dream of working and travelling throughout Asia, Enrico arrived in Hong Kong and joined the kitchens of Dining Concepts. Equipped with 13 years of culinary experience at the young age of 28, Enrico’s dream is to, one day, open his own restaurant. He is currently the head chef at SPIGA.
