Owner of the Michelin-starred Gardenia Restaurant, in Caluso (TO), Mariangela was originally inspired by, and learned her cooking skills, from her mother. She then went on to garner professional experience through internships in Italy and abroad, and with enthusiasm and passion, began to understand how great chefs evolved. With vigor and personality, her cuisine expresses that of the local area, and is characterized by an original and refined creative imagination which focuses on the emotion and the surprise of the moment, combining the authentic taste of tradition with refined techniques. The carpe diem of the kitchen garden, along with the culture of wild herbs, are a must for her, and the result is an authentic and palate-pleasing dining experience.
